  5. Fast drives are no longer enough. The X/Stor Performance Enhanced Storage
  6. Subsystem Driver provides SCO UNIX, XENIX, and Open Desktop users the highest
  7. levels of capacity, performance, and expandability. All subsystem components --
  8. hardware, software and firmware -- are integrated and ``performance matched''
  9. to deliver optimal system throughput. In addition to providing X/Stor erasable
  10. optical subsystem support, the X/Stor driver allows X/Stor subsystems to be
  11. expanded up to three host adapters per system with up to seven X/Stor drives
  12. per adapter -- storage can be expanded from 100 MB to over 21 GB. Since all
  13. subsystems include an industry standard, high-speed, 16-bit bus-mastering SCSI
  14. host adapter, the X/Stor driver can intelligently apply optimization techniques
  15. like command queuing, disconnect/reconnect and ``scatter-gather'' to
  16. efficiently manage resources and minimize I/O overhead. The X/Stor Performance
  17. Enhanced Storage Subsystem Driver is included with all X/Stor hard disk and
  18. erasable optical storage subsystems.
